The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005)

Classic Sports Film
"The Greatest Game Ever Played" is not only the best golf movie ever made but it's probably one of the best outings by a first time director (Bill Paxton).
For people who aren't big golf fans the tendency to want to stay away from this film is understandable. But the way the golf scenes are shot in this movie golf is so much easier to digest.
The film stars Shia LaBeouf as Francis an aspiring golfer who can't get a break. And everyone has heard the story before so I won't bore you with the details. The movie is very enjoyable and worth the time to see it.

| Ya know... I had no idea that Bill Paxton had directed this. Now I need to go to a corner and flog myself for being a bad movie geek. All I knew was that Shia was in it and it was about the most boring sport that I've ever been tortured with. |
