I went into this film with mediocre expectations. I was anticipating some cheap thrills from film makers hoping to cash in on the idea of possession in films (after the success of last summer's Excorsist: The Beginning), but this movie was so much more than that. It had deeper substance.
The movie takes us through the court proceedings and the audience sees the posession through flashbacks and testimony. And even if you do not believe in posession, I for one do not, you genuinely feel for the characters and can really get into the plot.
