A Very Underrated Film
One of the most underlooked movies of the year. It was a truly genuine movie with great poignancy and terrific morals. Veterans Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman are always terrific and this movie is no exception for them. Oscar calibre performances from both of them. Jennifer Lopez is great as well. This is no "Gigli" for her. She shone in this movie which is totally unlike her. I was certainly impressed with her. Josh Lucas was good in his supporting role as was Camryn Manheim. Newcomer Becca Gardner also does a fine job. Lasse Hallstrom always impresses me and this movie is definitely one of the best of 2005. Watch it. You'll like it.
