Movie Review by James
August 26th, 2005

The Brothers Grimm is another in a line of fantasy movies derived from famous books, such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and the upcoming film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

This is a good fantasy movie and it is kind of fun the way it spins pieces of many of the most famous fairytales ever written into the movie. The Brothers Grimm has some wonderful and cute performances by both Matt Damon and Heath Ledger as the famous, or infamous Brothers Grimm, and Monica Belluci (who is ultra HOT!!!), is pretty cool as the scary evil witch queen to.

The story is not bad, not the best, but it is not bad, with some pretty cool characters, some cool monsters and some cool special effects. This is a pretty good movie, not the best but it is pretty good, and I would describe it as being a little better than Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, while not as good as Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. I give this movie 3 1/2 stars.
