McAdams keeps her shirt on

Rachel McAdams was supposed to join Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson on the cover of the Hollywood issue of Vanity Fait last year, but backed out because she did not want to appear nude. I guess she hopes we didn't see "My Name is Tanino," a film she did in 2002. There was certainly more there than would have been on the cover of Vanity fair.

Fortunately, she didn't have to appear topless in Red Eye, where she plays opposite Cillian Murphy, the evil doctor in Batman Begins. Maybe, if she wasn't so uptight, she would have recognized his inherent evil.

But that is off the screen McAdams and Murphy gave outstanding performances, with great support from Jayma Mays (Flags of Our Fathers.) It was good the first time, better the second time, and worth repeat visits.

I was all about Cillian in this. He comes off like a modern day Robert Mitchum, don't you think?
