Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 21st, 2007

Oh, John Singleton...when will you learn?

This film tries to hard to display the tragedy of gangs, guns and gruesome violence by following four adopted brothers out to avenge their mother's death.

The brothers are a multi-racial brood that never really seem to display the kind of kinship that real brothers do.

This film is forced, false and pretty f*cking lame.

I actually really enjoyed the violence in this film, most films that come out now do not show it like they use to in the 80's and 90's..........also I respect Mark Wahlberg more after watching him in this film.

but don't you think the plot was laborious and there was no chemistry between the actors?

well im not a fan of "rappers" being in movies and yes i agree that they had no chemistry but i think it was partly done like that on purpose to show that these "4 brothers" were not really brothers and did not have any chemistry..... just four people that were adopted together and grew respect for one another.
