Dressed to Kill (1946)

End of an era
Favorite Movie Quote: "The truth can only be found by the painstaking elimination of the untrue."
Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce starred in some 17 movies from 1939-1946, ending with this one. Their particular and peculiar association made for some delightful movies. This one was particularly goo, as only Holmes could have made something out of a music box theft.
Patricia Morison made for an exciting antagonist to Rathbone's Holmes, but she made that same mistake that all criminals make: thinking they have solved a problem without being sure. When you try to kill Rambo, you better make sure he is dead, or he will come back to haunt you. Holmes was just Rambo's predecessor in that regard.
Classic whodunnit with some fine actors.
