A Sleek Sneaky Horror Movie

House of Wax Movie Review

Director: Jaume Collet-Serra

Actors: Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, and Paris Hilton

Rated R: For Horror Violence, Some Sexual Content and Language

Carly (Elisha Cuthbert), Paige (Paris Hilton), and their buddies camp out for a night while traveling to a college football game. After an unpleasant run-in with a mysterious trucker, they awake to find their car disabled and have to hike to a nearby town. Soon, the crew is stalked by a killer, forcing them to take refuge in a museum called Trudy's House of Wax.

Well, I don't really have anything bad to say about House of Wax. House of Wax had Great Acting, Great Directing, Excellent Special Features, and Awesome Writing. One of House of Wax's best aspects was the story line for the twin killers; I thought that there past story was made very creepy. Another good aspect was the Acting I don't know why people don't like Paris she was actually pretty good even though she only had like 20, but no actor/actress was better than Elisha Cuthbert she did the best Acting whether it was someone gluing her lips together, beating someone with a bat, or being "nice" to her Twin Brother Nick (Chad Michael Murray) she did the best acting. Another big positive aspect were the deaths in the movie I was entertained by them, especially Ms. Hiltons. The second to last huge positive aspect for me where the jumps this movie made me jump close to twenty times. My last huge positive aspect was the special effects. The ending sequences of House of Wax had to have been one of the best parts of the whole movie when the House of Wax literally melts down to a puddle, which was definitely very cool. Last but not least my only two negative aspects one was it is very boring in some spots of the movie where you'll look at your clock or watch to find out when that part will be over and lastly the death scenes are all together. They were not spread out enough but I got over those negative aspects and I came to find this is a very good horror movie remake and if I were you I'd definitely give it a chance.

Overall if you like an awesome slasher flick this is definitely for you or if you like Elisha Cuthbert you'll like this movie also.
