An Action Packed Bore Fest

Sahara Movie Review

Director: Breck Eisner

Actors: Matthew McConaughey, Penélope Cruz, and Steve Zahn

Rated PG-13: For Action Violence

Name of Review: Just Plain Boring

Explorer Dirk Pitt (Matthew McConaughey) and his slacker sidekick (Steve Zahn) embark on a treasure hunt through West Africa in search of what locals call the Ship of Death, a lost Civil War battleship that may house a very valuable cargo. Doctor Eva Rojas (Penélope Cruz) warns them that the ship may be linked to mysterious deaths in the area.

Sahara has got to be one of the most action packed boring movies I've ever seen. Sahara did have good Acting, Directing, some good Special Effects, and OK Writing. The special effects in Sahara were so typically boring it just plainly got annoying, out of the whole movie there was only one good "Action" part and that was when they were in the boat about an hour into the movie and every other "Action" part was plain. On the brighter side Sahara had great acting in my personal opinion Steve Zahn did the best acting in the whole movie everyone else was good but he stood out the most to me. Even though it had good acting it doesn't make Sahara the best movie or the worst, but just a little bit more toward the worst.

Overall if you like movies where you'll constantly look at your watch just to see when the movie ends this one is definitely for you
