Movie Review by Zara
August 27th, 2008

The plus side to this movie is that Jordana Brewster looks f*cking gorgeous. The slightly lesser plus side is that the movie understands that it's a spoof. The downside? It only understands that spoof part to a minor extent.

What is a great concept - girls taking the SATs discover that there are hidden elements in the test to determine if they're good spy material - and gets an interesting side story line attached to it - one of the spy girls falls for the ultra bad villain who also happens to be a girl - and then the movie just lets that good concept fall to pieces in its fingers.

After the first few moments of the movie where you're expecting something great to happen after finding out that Brewster's character is a lesbian, the movie devolves into a half-assed attempt to be pro-alternative lifestyle, if you'd like to call it that, and becomes just another teen romance comedy bullsh*t, unrealistic piece of steaming caca. I really wish that there was another way to explain it, but that explanation is eluding me at this hour.

Kudos for trying to be different. However, lousy way to follow through.
