Ong Bak: Muay thai warrior
Do you like kung fu? Answer: yes Response: go see this film.
This film is the best kung fu movie i have seen in some time, and i like me a good kung fu film. Truly, how can you go wrong with near 100 flying elbows to the head, over 150 flying knees to the chest, and about 100 beautifully executed spins, flips, and other acrobatic feats the names of which are unknown to me. All packaged with some actually really good footage of thailand, and thai people? Not to mention there are a few scenes the like of which you will find nowhere else, like the first five minutes, or the best chase scene ever. This film has it all folks. Kung fu, stunts, laughter(plenty of this), and some nice footage of thailand. Two thumbs up with a goofy smile to boot.
