I'm not going to quibble about Vol.1 and Vol.2 and which one is better and why because it is, ultimately, one epic story told in many distinctly different ways. I like both volumes for different reasons, and I think it's better to discuss the film as a whole. That said, this is Tarantino's first true epic and I love the universe he has created; I will surely visit it again and again, and I wouldn't mind seeing him do the same.
