Movie Review by Lance
June 24th, 2005

New in the theatres: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. If you're a fan of the TV show, you might be let down. Kind of like when you love a book and then see the movie you think of all the things they left out. In fact, the movie seems kind of short because it has hardly have the story that a normal SpongeBob episode pacts, but the bottom line is: do the kids like it, and yes, they do. They hardly seem to notice the continuity error where SpongeBob and Patrick have no problem breathing air, and none of them know who David Hassleshoff is, but they still laughed at his cameo, and so will you. Take the kids to go see SpongeBob. Unlike what some of the religious right's repressed homosexuals will tell you: SpongeBob isn't queer, don't worry. You have been warned.
