Another Pixar Champ

Pixar does it again people! Need I really say more? The people who have changed animation forever (in a way that Dreamworks can only imagine) with such films as 'Finding Nemo', 'Monsters Inc', the 'Toy Story' movies and one of my all-time favorites 'A Bug's Life'. 'The Incredibles' follows a family of superheroes as they are attempting to come out of retirement and is headed by Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter as the parents of superkids. Samuel L. Jackson is good but underused as Nelson (Mr.Incredible)'s best friend. The standouts here are Jason Lee as Syndrome, a Conan O'Brien-looking wannabe superhero. Lee has made some ghastly errors in judgement lately, maybe this is his way back to his Kevin Smith days (Smith could use some luck as well)? Also the director and writer, Brad Bird, is unbelievably funny as Edna 'E' Mode the tiny superhero costume designer.

This is one of those movies that is great for kids, but also funny for adults! The animation is unparalelled and the jokes are 'Simpsons'-esque.
