Movie Review by Chris
August 20th, 2007

Horrible

I had big hopes for this movie. The trailer made it look like it was going to be absoulutely amazing. This is the sequel to RE, a fairly good horror adaptation. I believe that RE: Apocalypse has taken the franchise and crushed it under its foot. This film is absoulutely horrible. First it has nothing to do with the game, and its very dry in gore.

This film takes place after the raid on The Hive, Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) is a cop who has recently been suspended from the force. She said that she saw zombies in the mountains during her vacation, little weird huh. So she goes crazy and warns her captain and everyone else, ultimately getting suspended. When a group of scientist open The Hive though, they unleash the mutants. Now there are zombie everywhere in the city. Alice (Milla Jovovich), returns as a genetically enhanced mutant. Now Jill and Alice team together to fight off the Nemesis.

The games were ridiculously violent, the opposite of this film. This movie has about an ounce of blood in the whole movie. We get dry head shots along with dry bites.

The directing and editing of this film is killer bad. I was thinking if it could get any worse.

This film is horrible, bottom line.
