Movie Review by Sage
September 25th, 2007

Girl With a Pearl Earring is about a servant(Scarlett Johansson) who is some kind of soul mate with her master(Colin Firth), who is a painter. It tells the story of why the real painting was painted. Its not particularly long, which was cool, because it could have draggeed. The entire movie was kind of like a painting, the shots were amazing, i don't know if this was done on purpose, but every shot in the movie could have been a portrait or painting. Scarlett Johansson does a pretty good job, and so does Colin Frith. Its refreshing, and not too typical Which is why i like it.
It doesn't have too many memorable quotes but heres one.
"I shall put it in the book, then: "Owed by Griet: one smile"
