I like Odie
I really did expect to hate this movie much more than I ultimately did. Bill Murray is most definitely doing this for the paycheck, but at the same time his voice is effective as the title feline.
I also thought that the addition of Odie as being a non-animated dog was a wise choice. An absolutely adorable wire haired Jack Russell Terrier will win over any skeptical audience. Even me.
It's a decent family film, something good for the kids and not horrific for the adults. Nothing to write home about but still good enough to gaze at while your kid giggles over the talking cat.
