Movie Review by Seth
February 9th, 2007

Huh Huh, hey Beavis, I gotta good idea for a movie

Flat out, hands down f*cking retarded.

I got suckered into seeing this piece of sh*t with my girlfriend at the time. We've since broken up.

Made several years after the whole natural disaster movie craze, this waste of time doesn't even come close to comparing with flicks like Twister or Deep Impact. A dumb idea right off the bat. The whole world freezes in two days! What the hell! It takes hours to freeze ice in the freezer. How can anyone with any common sense be into such a ridiculous plot. Hammed up acting, mediocre special effects, boring characters. The only thing below zero about this was the movie itself. At least Roland Emmerich's movie Independence Day was somewhat believable.

The Day After Tomorrow will leave you on ice. It's not even good enough to be in the movie bin at the 99¢ store.

True...it would have been more believable if it had taken the time to show the temperature drop in real time but I don't think I'd like to watch a movie that is a few decades long. King Kong was long enough, thank you very much.

I think if you can suspend belief for not-so-little blue-grey men from another planet, you can suspend belief that the disaster was accelerated to create the urgency and danger necessary for a disaster movie.

Oh and the special effects were above par in my book.
