A Solid Horror Remake

Zack Snyder, the man who brought us 300, directs this action packed remake of George A. Romeros Dawn on The Dead. James Gunn, the man who wrote Slither, brings us the amazing screenplay. Being as in remakes and sequels are taking over the movie world, its good to see a remake come out of a classic and succeed. This current version actually stays close to the original film, which was a cult classic. KNB Effects manages all the gore gags in the movie which explains how good they are. The zombies now run though, a little change in the series.

Dawn of The Dead is an excellent remake. The Hills Have Eyes was also a great remake, one of the few good ones. With current remakes coming out like The Fog and Halloween, this years not looking so good in the movie world.

Bottom Line: Good and Scary
