I know several people that really think Jack Black is an annoying fool, but I like his craziness. I think I really loved this flick, because of the way the kids come out with the progress of the band. Is Jack Black's character a loser musician who got kicked out of his own band and can't let go of his foolish highschool dreams? Sure! But he inspires these stuffy kids from a private school to let their talents be heard and gives them confidence, where they might have stayed in the shadows without him. When you think of Jack Black, most people think it's going to be all fun and games.
