Movie Review by Zara

I hate TV

I hate TV and therefore I hate the majority of the extensions of TV, including movies like this based on shows that I get sick of within seconds. However, I have a young kid and Nick manages to heavily market and drill the message into their little brains that you've GOT to see their movies.

I can say that I'm OK with the Thornberries and how the youngest daughter is fearless and always trying new things out. It's a mentality that I've tried to instill in my little one. But other than that, the dialog is flat and the babies from the Rugrats are repetitive and annoying.

Oh, but the family dog gets a voice! And it's Bruce Willis' voice. Whoop-f*cking-ee. I liked better that Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders was the voice of a jungle cat than any of the other vocals talents used.

Flea does the voice for Donnie. Ooh! And Tim Curry is Nigel.

I, too, have a special affection for The Wild Thornberries. The Rugrats can go blow.
