Home Alone and Dressed to Kill

I actually remember the events that this movie is based on. There was a huge following of the club scene on the popular daytime TV talk shows of the early '90's, back when I was a teenager obsessed with them. They also ended up detailing how Macauley's character (again, these are real events) killed a fellow, less cool, club kid.

The movie is like a sycophant adoring its precious club kid. It loves the drugs, the colorful costumes, the outrageous hair and make-up. It also loves that the movie that got Macauley back into acting was one where he plays a tarted up gay male. And does it so damn well it's frightening.

Seth Green is the other huge addition to the cast as well. Seth is one of those young actors today who gets way too little credit for being so consistent in his work, regardless of the level of legitimacy it holds. He is the perfect sidekick to Macauley's over the top character and remains consistent as always.

This is a movie I've wanted to see for the longest time but just haven't gotten around to it.
