Movie Review by Melanie
March 18th, 2007

This was my least favorite of the Matrix trilogy. It spent the least time in the Matrix, and like I have said that was my favorite part. I also found the centenils to be extremely unbelievable and really silly.

The infantry soldiers were cool, and yet silly all at the same time. Had I been the machines I would have simply hacked into the humans system and had all of their machines turn against them, problem solved. However, that wouldn't have worked with the plot as well (it would have also cut out half of the movie, and we all know that wouldn't work).

This movie's main purpose is to finish the story and fulfill the prohpecy. By the time you get to this movie, you know what will have to happen, and there really isn't any other way it could end. I like that it follows through with how it has been set up, and at the same time, I don't like how predictable it is.

I liked the first movie a lot, and while I did go to the two sequels like most of the nation, when they announced that they were making them my first thought was, "But why?"

I enjoyed them, but like I said, you knew exactly what was coming. There really weren't any surprises, especially in this one. I think the main reason they made two more was because the first was so popular they figured they would milk it for all it was worth.
