Fun Chick Flick
Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey channel Rock Hudson and Doris Day in a very fun chick flick. The movie does rely on just about all of the cliche's of the genre, but who cares? I don't really expect to see innovation in a romantic comedy. All that's required is chemistry between the lovers and some laughs along the way. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of the few out of many attempts that succeeds. The romantic comedy genre has very few standouts, but this chick flick is one of them.
