This would make a good double feature with Surplus, as it tells a much more detailed and thorough history of consumerism and corporate capitalism in America, featuring fascinating interviews with Howard Zin, Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore (among many others). At two hours and 45 minutes, it is a bit long for a single viewing, but only because it is impossible to absorb everything; the film is never boring.
