Movie Review by Jodi
May 28th, 2006

This is simply an incredible film. I don't think any other movie has ever moved me on so many emotional levels. It's a beautiful story brought to life with fantastic cinematography and perfectly cast actors. The movie is filled with unforgettable characters, morals you'll implement in your own life, and the surreal imagery from the creative mind of Tim Burton. Ewan McGregor is charming as young Ed Bloom, while Albert Finney plays a hilarious and extremely likable older Edward Bloom. Both Allison Lohman and Jessica Lange are elegant and beautiful as the spirited and supportive Sandra Bloom. The film is accented with memorable supporting roles by Helena Bonham Carter, Danny DeVito and Steve Buscemi.

Fans of the book may find the movie to be very different, but enjoyable and divergent.

From the climax to the ending, the tear flow increases with each celluloid moment. With so many gorgeous, thought provoking lines, this film will surely become a classic.. It already has in my book.
