Movie Review by Zara
March 10th, 2007

Thankfully, it's over

I'm so glad that they finally decided to stop making these movies.

Oh, wait... they didn't. There are still direct to video versions that are doing quite well. f*ck.

The first installment in this franchise was the one that took the cake. It was great to see people getting back into liking "R" rated comedies, letting them be as raunchy as they could possibly get and still be embraced by the masses. While it created a star out of wide eyed Jason Biggs, it also created an actor who loathes the fact that he was in these movies. He has made it obvious in all of his interviews that he hates the fact that he'll always be remembered as the pie f*cker.

That shows in this movie, where he is plodding through it quite clearly for the paycheck. By the time that this installment was released, people were watching the movie for for Seann William Scott as the infamous Stiffler. While that role has pigeon-holed Scott as well, I think he gets far too little credit for being as funny as he is. His comedic timing is phenomenal and if comedy wasn't such a bastard child of the genres, he'd have gotten his due by now.

My star goes mainly to the dance scene in which Scott needs to out-dance a gay man to help Jim get the dress that Michelle wants. Although as all Stiffler lovers know, this was more about his ego and less about helping out. Even though the movie sells him out for that as well. f*ckers.
