Not bad but not believable

It's a Cinderella story meant to capture the beauty that is J-lo. There really isn't althing all that special about this movie, it's a lot like PRETTY WOMAN except that she's a maid instead of a hooker and she's Hispanic instead of white.

I'll admit that I liked this movie better that PW mainly because I like Ralph Fiennes. He has a smooth British air about him, even when he's not playing into the stereotype. Going outside of what audiences normally watch him for was also refreshing to see. It's nice to know that some actors are OK with travelling outside of their more familiar circles, even if it is for mediocre crap.

The movie also benefits from a great supporting cast including Bob Hoskins, Amy Sedaris, Stanley Tucci and Natasha Richardson. If you're going to go a route that's already well worn, might as well make sure that you have some great company for your travels.
