Depression & Beauty
The Hours is an astounding film, emotionally powerful and dramatic.
The performances are stellar, especially an unrecognizable Nicole Kidman, who deservedly won an Academy Award for her role as Virginia Woolf.
Three separated, yet connected stories of three women in three different time periods, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman and Ed Harris really shine.
Highly recommended, especially if you like emotionally charged dramas.
