WHY MY FAVORATE?

This movie is undebatably my most favorate movie of all time. Many times I attempt to ponder what movie I could possibly like better but there is no contest; it always comes back to Gangs of New York. Don't really know what it is. Could be that it supplies everything I could possibly want and look for in my movies: Strong leading man (This is actually the movie that made me LIKE Leo DiCaprio.), Strong Villain (Daniel Day-Lewis is the epitomy of any villainous actor.), A little romance, hard-core action, witty lines and dialogue, strong story with moral's to it, color well-balanced. Martin Scorsese is the master of the tracking shot and this provides the audience with a feeling of truly being whiseked away and led back in time to the darker side of the American society. Where else do you get a movie that portrays the AMERICAN as the villain? very rarely. By now I'm just rambling but all it comes down to is Gangs of New York is my favorate movie and will be unrivaled in that catergory.

Love it, love it , love it.........I was so glad to see Daniel Day-Lewis come back after his lengthy lay off with such a great movie as this.
