the jew review...

so i've learned over the last 10 or so years that just cuz a movie has a great cast and an alluring title, doesn't mean it's a great movie. the previews for this flick made it seem like it was truly the bomb, but alas... it wasn't. vincent pastore as the priest? stick to being a gangster vincent... i love it when you're a bad man, not a bad actor. balthazar getty, matt dillon, fairuza balk, brad renfro... seriously, that's the makings for a great flick. it's not. it's just a great waste of money. the fight scenes... few and far between. in fact i'd say that the only redeeming factors of this movie were the beatiful cars and the ending credits. i was very disappointed needless to say, and again, remember: a great cast doesn't mean a great movie. that's all for today's jew review. i'm giving it 1/2 dreidel and i feel like that's very generous.

I watched this movie, I know I did. However, it's one of those movies that I've pretty much forgotten. Sometimes the brain does that to protect itself, I think.
