Beautiful
No one has the courage that Michael Moore has to seek out the root of the issue. He is a hero of the American public, their champion, even if they don't realize it.
This film reveals how American capitalism has eaten away at the hearts and souls of what the country is supposed to protect: each other.
The scene at the K-Mart headquarters is one of the most difficult to watch and also the most moving. How can this corporate men and women ignore this young man who was crippled by a bullet bought at their store? How can that not make them think twice?
I love the fact that the talking heads who make the most sense are Matt Stone, from 'South Park', and Marilyn Manson, because they are the people who are listening to these kids who are seeking to be heard, the corporations and parents are simply not.
Damn you, Charlton Heston.
