Movie Review by zeke
June 6th, 2008

Favorite Movie Quote: "These? These are more than headaches. These are steel plates slicing through my every thought."

Vanilla Sky was the movie that opened up my eyes about Tom Cruise's talent. I was impressed by him to say the least and I also started watching out for Cameron Crowe after this film. Many people do not like Vanilla Sky but I thought it was a great suspense film that kept you wondering the entire film what was really going on. I don't believe anyone that says they guessed the ending of this one because it was so off the wall that nobody could have known the truth about him being frozen. Not to mention that Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz are just gorgeous in this film.

Overall I would say that the films negative press was the result of people not understanding it because really nothing else explains why people were so against it.
