What the hell just happened?
If someone could explain to me a couple of things about this movie, I might be inclined to give it a full star.
First: what was the point in making this movie? Especially with Tom Cruise as the star. (And don't say that it was because he worked with Crowe on JERRY MAGUIRE.)
Second: What was the point of the movie? Did it even have a point?
Third: Explain to my why I should care about any of the answers to the above questions.
I'm pissed that Crowe so completely misused Jason Lee in this flick. As for the rest of the actors, I couldn't give a crap. But you do NOT take one of my favorite slacker actors of all time and make him into a simpering pantywaist.

| I give Vanilla Sky 5 stars. The plot was something new and entertaining. The cast all did wonderful jobs especially Cruise and Russell. The movie also keeps you wondering, this is not an easy ending to guess. I cant believe you did not like this film but hey .... whatever floats your boat! |

| I liked it 'cause, as one who doesn't drug, it makes me feel loopy. I also like movies that aren't obvious. It took me two or three viewings to 'get it,' even if the result was anticlimactic. |
