While Snatch. is by no means any more original than Ritchie's first feature, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, it is certainly much cleaner and tidier. Unfortunately, it's still not much better. However, there are quite a few comedic moments that really hit the nail on the head, and Brad Pitt is hilarious as a gypsy with an unintelligible dialect. While the movie is really nothing more than yet another riff on the Tarantino style, it has a certain undeniable energy...still, that energy can't cover up the fact that the movie is rather pointless and rarely comes up aces.
