A movie that is extremely insulting to obese people (which I am not). I could understand an actor of Jack Black's level doing this movie, but Gwyneth Paltrow--no way. She must have been promised the lead role in Gone With the Wind II. Bobby and Peter Farrelly should send a thank you letter to Tom Cruise and the crew who put together Vanilla Sky. Otherwise, this would have been the "dud of the century" movie. The storyline, besides being insulting, was unbelievable. If you want to rent a good flick, try some of the golden oldies--To Sir with Love or Lilies of the Field. Now, there's real acting.

| I don't think you actually got the concept of this movie. This movie actually showed how men and women are about dating people. You must be oblivious to how people really are when it come to picking up mates. No matter what anyone says, beauty is the first thing that attracts someone. This was a great flick that gave the shallowest man a new eye when looking at women. He actually got to see the inner beauty that sometimes can't be seen. |
