Movie Review by Candi
January 16th, 2007

First off, the movie is based on the book which is based on Beverly's life. Now that that's been said, I wanted to say the film is overall an enjoyable film. I was especially floored with Drew Barrymore's portrayal of Beverly and also Steve Zahn's dramatic acting. However, if you've read the book and you're expecting to see the movie version, this really isn't it. It's like a brand new story. Only few things in the book were actually in the film. Some people will tell you that books to films are usually bad, but again, it's a good story. It's just not the same one we're used to.
