Perfection of Purpose

Many criticize Baz Luhrman for being too style heavy, but you wouldn't criticize Hitchcock for being too dark, or Speilberg for being too sappy (okay, maybe I would), because it is what they do best.
This is a great collage musical with my favorite Nicole Kidman performance ever. The sexual heat in every scene, with that overpowering red colour scheme gets me everytime.
The absynthe, the drama, the ending.
Try and not cry, I f*cking dare you.

I couldn't take this movie. Musicals bore me and take from the movie. Not a good one for me.
