Kicking butt on Mars!

Favorite Movie Quote: "Let's put it this way... maybe I'll sleep with you if you're the last man on earth. But we're not on earth."

There is nothing like a good old fashioned shoot-em-up between the cowboys and Indians. This film captures that feel, but on Mars.

John Carpenter's idea is really not far fetched at all. The Universe if billions of years old, and we are but a blip in it's history. The fact that life could have existed on Mars and been made dormant due to climate conditions is realistic. Once we invade Mars, and start changing the climate to suit us, that dormant life could reemerge.

And, boy are they pissed! Just like the Native Americans, they fight the interlopers - us - to reclaim their land.

A great cast with Natasha Henstridge (Species), Ice Cube (xXx: State of the Union, Boyz n the Hood), Jason Statham (Transporter, Carnk, War), Clea DuVall (The Grudge, "Carnivāle"), Joanna Cassidy (The Grudge 2, "Six Feet Under") and Pam Grier (Jackie Brown).

Give this one a look and you will see why it is among Carpenter's best.
