Thora and Scarlett

Based on the 'Eightball' comic books, this tells the story of teen girls who are ostracized from the normal world and thus live on the outskirts of the norm. Thora Birch is excellent in a role that may as well have been written about her, while Scarlett Johnansson brilliantly plays the shy, less-opinionated and outshone friend of such a loudmouth.

This is the rare film that shows how girls truly relate, how their competitive nature comes through despite their eteral devotion to one another.

A great modern teen oddball flick.
