Fast and Intense

The Fast and The Furious is the mans movie. Its got the women, the cars and the action that a man wants to see in a movie. The cars are very beautiful, scanning some top models and brands. The race scenes are done fresh and well and the acting is terrific.

The Fast and the Furious takes you inside the thrilling world of street racing. Vin Diesel stars as Dominic Toretto, a gang leader who is accused of hijacking trucks and stealing over a million dollars worth of electronic equiptment. The FBI sends LAPD officer Brian O'Conner(Walker) undercover into Los Angeles' street racing circuit to take down Toretto and his team. As O'Conner becomes part of Toretto's life and gets involved with his sister, Mia (Brewster) he tries to prove that Toretto is innocent.

The acting is simply very done well. Shwoing us the newcomer Paul Walker (Joyride) as Brian o' Conner. Paul gives us a tough guy attitude that fits well with his part in the movie. Vin Diesel(Chronicles of Riddick) puts onan amazing performance as Dominic Torretto, Vin is a great actor that in some parts gives us a very emotional performance. Michelle Rodriquez (LOST) plays as Letty. She is a good actress that gives us the tough girl attitude. Also in the cast is Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune and Johnny Strong.

All of the race scenes in the film are done nicely. Rob Cohen (XxX) kind of steers us away from a lot of CGI in most races and tries to focus on more the reality. NOS is a little exaggerated in the film but thats a minor mistake we can overlook.

The film sint all about racing. We get some motional scenes and your average action shootout and some tension.

Bottomn Line: Very Well Done Rob...if only the sequel was as good.
