Never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn.
This movie kicks ass. Chopper is a nut and a dispicable character yet this portrayal somehow manages immortalise his infamy without a hint of glorification. It's funny, witty, creepy and very disturbing. Eric Bana is at his best so far perfectly summarising the mindset of a calm and casual killer. Mark Brandon Read is obviously not a stupid man and his flair comes alive in this film.
My only criticism is that it bought Eric Bana to the attention of Hollywood who then went on to star in Black Hawk Down. Ugh!
