Not As Good As 'Kids'
Larry Clark is famous for directed 'Kids', one of the most stirring portrayals of teenage city kids. That film followed young teens as they had sex, did drugs, got STDs and tore up NYC. This, Clark's follow up, follows somewhat older teens in Florida as they plan and execute a murder of the bully of their group. The film is nowhere near as good as 'Kids', but is notable if only for great performances by Michael Pitt ('Last Days') as the pretty-boy who wants to be bad and Nick Stahl ('In The Bedroom') as the bully who is such an a**hole we as the audience sympathize with his murderers.
