Movie Review by Faye
November 29th, 2007

Without a doubt this series captures the call to duty, bravery and patriotism of the men and women who serve this nation in time of conflict and war. As a woman I found the underlying story lines to be gripping and well written, while the combat scenes were not so explicit as to cause me to turn away, which I could not have done either way! I believe that every home in America should have a copy of this series and watch it. As we send our young men and women into yet another war, perhaps this series would help instill and bolster in everyone the since of honor, duty and patriotism that has waned in the past few decades. Five stars doesn't do this series justice. Casting, location, writing, and authentic recreation of events could not have been more perfect. Spielberg and Hanks are natural born film makers and this is as good as it gets.
