Stupid... but
This movie is terribly implausible and a waste of some really good talent, from my favorite Matthew Lillard to the normally enchanting Embeth Davidtz to the wonderful Tony Shalhoub.
Based on a man who donates his booby-trapped house to a widower and his children, the house is set to hold 13 of the craziest ghosts inside. However, it's also set up to let them loose and unleash hell itself or some stupid nonsense like that.
The one thing about this movie that makes it halfway interesting is getting the DVD with all of the bonus features and watching the section on the ghosts and how they came to be. Since they're not always clearly detailed in the movie, it's actually quite fascinating the loving attention that they are payed in the bonus features.
Other than that, this movie was just too stupid for me.
