Movie Review by Zara

I'll Fong You!

Heath Ledger is pretty. He's been a pretty high schooler with dark hair, a pretty cowboy with a hat so you can't see his hair and a damn pretty jouster with golden ringlets that make you want to sing his praises. Dammit, the boy is pretty.

I really don't care that there isn't a huge story behind this movie. I avoid those a**holes who claim that mixing classic rock music with scenes of jousting is a mix worse than Jimmy Page deciding to work with P Diddy (let's face it, NOTHING was as bad of a mix as that). I simply look at pretty Ledger, look at the even prettier Sossamon (that dress with the sheer stuff? Mmmmmmm) and laugh at Paul Bettany telling his foes that he will "eviscerate (them) in fiction."

Oh, and Alan Tudyk. Yeah, I'm a Firefly geek but I still think that man is brilliant at creating a memorable comedic character.

Rufus Sewell isn't half bad as the villian either. The movie is lightweight, but done in the best lightweight fashion. Sharp accents, great looking costumes, good looking actors, clear cinematography that makes the knight time look like MTV time. Hell, if you're going to make fluff, make it look good. A KNIGHT'S TALE does just that.
