Movie Review by Zara

Gotcha!

I love smart movies almost as much as I love smart men. I especially love smart movies that don't condescend to you, filled with a bunch of crap that the basic movie goer can't get into unless they went to college. That's not the point of being a Steve. Being a Steve means being non-exclusionary.

I'll admit, I slept with my number of Dex's back in the day. That slubbish guy who always managed to snag chicks when most other men couldn't find out how. They did it by being desireless, being excellent and then being gone. And they managed to do it without us women faulting them for it.

But the best part about THE TAO OF STEVE is that while this is a guy's kind of movie, it's actually a chick flick in disguise. Written primarily by two women and based on one guy friend of theirs that they knew, they give Dex a heart and soul and cause him to turn over his Don Giovanni ways and come running into the arms of the good woman.

So, if I haven't blown it for you, it's a crowd pleasing movie that will get both sides of the gender equation. Don't be a Stu. Watch the movie.
