A Great Installment of X-Men

I had seen X2 and Last Stand before finally getting the chance to actually sit down and watch this film. I followed what happened in the other two because I hads seen bits and pieces of this on tv or something. The first X-Men film, directed by Bryan Singer, is not better then the second, but overtakes the third. Bryan Singers directing in this film is just fantastic, really gets you into the action scenes and delivers a lot of fun. The acting is great to, Hugh Jackman perfectly fits into the role of Wolverine, whom most of the series revolves around. The writing is funny and really good, the solid script helps a lot of things with the movie.

Hugh Jackman plays as the mysterious but bad ass Wolverine. The original comic book series of X-Men was all about Wolverine, though it was sorrounded with many other characters, the main plot fits with him. Jackman is the perfect choice for playing as Wolverine, as he gets all the movements, attitudes and fight styles just right. Hes also very funny. Patrick Stewart does a phenomanhal job as Xavier, one of the most recognizeable characters in the series. The film revolves a lot around Rogue played by Anna Pequin. She does an excellent job with the character, though young, she has a future in this buisness.

Bryan Singer greets us with some really cool directing here. The fight scenes are shot and choreographed so well, theyre worth seeing the film for. Not really. There are a lot of visual effects in the movie to, and they are also greatly done. The characters are solid along with everything else to.

Bottom Line: Great
