Darren Aronofsky is one of my favorite film makers. Pi was fantastic and Reqiem was definitely a force. Though not a very uplifting story, the movie makes you struggle with the question of who suffers the worst. It is a sobering film and not one that you immediately forget after you are done watching it, but one that lingers in your thoughts for long after. That is one of the characteristics of a truly good film.

I loved this movie and PI, but I really think Aronofsky dropped a bollock with Fountain, damn that movie sucked.
