Movie Review by Lisa
March 23rd, 2007

This is one of my favorite Jim Carrey films.... I laugh so hard I nearly pissed myself.

Charlie Baileygates (Jim Carrey) is a Rhode Island cop, he is nice guy.... this inevitably means that he is an easy target for people to walk over and sh*t on, which they do constantly to poor old Charlie. Charlie however never once complains or fights back, even when his wife gave birth to 3 African American baby boys who he clearly did not father he said nothing. Charlie's wife then ran of with a Dwarf leaving him to raise 3 boys. It takes a bloody long time but eventually many year later Charlie has reached breaking point and after his mind has had enough he breaks down and out comes hi alter ego Hank who is the manifestation of all the things Charlie wouldn't say or do.

Carrey is great in this movie, Rene not so much anyone could have played her role.

Ugh. I wanted to like this movie. But I couldn't stand it. It even leaves a bad taste in my mouth just thinking about it right now.
